Be a Citizen Scientist with the Bush Lake Chapter! The Christmas Bird Count is a long-standing program of the Audubon Society, with over 100 years of citizen involvement! We will look for, identify, and record all bird species found around Bush Lake. Meet at the Bush Lake Chapter Lodge at 8:30 am (sharp!) for instructions. Bird count begins around 9:00 am. Bird for as long as you want! The bird count is open to everyone regardless of your level of birding experience. Beginners are welcome. Teams will walk around Bush Lake and other areas identifying and counting birds. No Dogs Please- Dress For the Weather- Bring Binoculars- Bird Books- Clipboards- Hand/Toe Warmers- Water- Snacks- Camera with a good zoom- Photographers welcome! Contact Steph with any questions.
