Help us plant our new rain garden and protect Bush Lake and support pollinators! 

The Bush Lake Chapter received a grant from the Nine Mile Creek Watershed District to install a rain garden to prevent runoff and prevent stormwater and pollutants from entering the lake. The rain garden was installed last fall, now it's time to plant it! Learn about rain gardens, water quality, native plants and pollinators. 

No experience necessary-all ages welcome-kids encouraged with adult supervision. Wear gardening clothes and bring sunblock, bug spray and water. Cordless drills are also needed to help plant. Rain or shine. Snacks and refreshments will be served. If you can't help plant, please consider bringing food or drinks for our hardworking planters! We hope to see you there!
