Minnesota Turtle Conservation - March 10 – Online

Learn about these important members of our aquatic ecosystem.

The presentation will share information about a research project between the Minnesota zoo and other state agencies.

The research contributes to better understand the threats facing Minnesota’s turtles, strategies to protect them and ways you can help.

Our presenter, Dr. Tricia Markle holds a Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota and a master’s degree from McGill University.  Dr. Markle has been leading the Minnesota Zoo’s Freshwater Turtle Conservation Program for the past four years.
