The West Metro Chapter of MN Master Naturalists will be hosting an online presentation on Thursday, January 13. The description is below. Please spread the word, all are welcome!

Population Ecology of Trumpeter Swans in the Midwest  

Learn about the history and biology of Trumpeter swans in the Midwest.  This presentation will include results of a study employing GPS-GSM transmitters.  The data tracks migration, mortality risks, and land use and will aid in conservation decisions.  Our presenter, David Wolfson is a wildlife ecologist conducting his PhD research at the University of Minnesota.
