Come to Bush Lake Beach, 9140 E. Bush Lake Road, to try your hand at ice fishing and learn about the tools of the trade. DNR fishing experts will be on hand to provide equipment and instruction for all who want to try ice fishing. Our chapter will be providing ice fishing instruction as well as information about beautiful Bush Lake, including information on water quality and the use of non-toxic lures and sinkers for fishing. Free non-toxic tackle, posters, and activity books to be given out while supplies last!

Join Parks and Recreation staff  and fellow Ikes on guided snowshoe walks too! Snowshoes provided or bring your own. Sponsored by the City of Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department, the Bush Lake Chapter of Izaak Walton League, and the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. Free refreshments will be available for participants.
