Tony and Denise are gearing up for a fun and rewarding volunteer season this fall—and they hope you'll join them!

In addition to tackling projects on our own property, we'll also be caring for about a half-acre of woodland just north of the chapter through the TRPD Adopt-a-Woodland program, in partnership with NMCWD and the City of Bloomington. All of this was prompted by one of our youngest members advocacy efforts and your signatures on her petition! Thanks Fall Owens!

Here's the exciting part: our efforts will connect with an ambitious 10-acre buckthorn removal project taking place over the next three years along the East Pond. Together, we'll be helping restore a much larger natural area for everyone to enjoy.

There will be a role for everyone, no matter how you'd like to pitch in. Help cut and haul buckthorn, lend a hand wherever it's needed, or even bring your musical talents to keep the energy high while everyone works. It's going to be a big job—but if you know Tony and Denise, you know they'll make sure it's a lot of fun, too!
